All the berries say yay! Black and blue, ripe and spicy. Parting with a dark chocolate kiss.
Montepulciano from Cantina Orsogna, Abruzzo (IT).
Batch of 3307 bottles.
While Montepulciano is often pointed out as a region, it’s actually the name for the grape. The region from where we are getting this grape is Abruzzo. Abruzzo lies in Southern centraal Italy.
Montepulciano is actually one of the most harvested grapes in Italy.
What’s so experimental about it?
While most montepulciano’s are aged on wood, we went for steel. Just because we can. After all, we make the wine ourselves and we get to choose what grapes we put in, in what way we ferment and age the juice and how long.
The story behind the bottle
Where exactly they crossed Chateau’s path, is still a mystery, but the name ‘Twisting Sisters’ comes from two twin sisters, both winemakers and both passionate late night dancers.
