Coolest red in town. Cherry sour chilling with translucent strawberry. Pepito’s tale is made of trollinger grapes from Baden-württemberg in Germany.
Batch of 1600 bottles.
While Baden is mostly familiar for its pinot gris, pinot blanc and pinot noir, it cultivates so much more! There’s lots of smaller farms, cultivating small grapes.
Ever heard of the Trollinger grape? Well, now you have! And not to make things more complicated but in Baden-Württemberg this grape sometimes goes by the name Schiava or Vernatch as well.
What’s so experimental about it?
As the description already spoils: the coolest red in town is to be taken literally. Because of the low alcohol percentage, this red wine is a perfect one to cool down like a white and serve it on a warm summer evening.
The story behind the bottle
We’re on a mission to get the Trollinger grape the fame it deserves! And its farmer as well of course. Therefore it was named after Pepito’s nickname.
Light fresh flavoured courses, picknick.
