This Riesling, with a medium straw-yellow color, unfolds with delightful aromas of elderflower, green apple, lychee, pear, peach, and yellow melon. The taste is beautifully balanced, featuring fresh acidity and refined white fruit. A tempting, juicy wine.
ABOUT THE GRAPE
Riesling is a global superstar, often referred to as the queen of white grapes, and for good reason. This grape variety is esteemed worldwide for its versatility and distinctive flavor profile. It thrives in cooler climates and takes center stage in German winemaking, where it forms the foundation for crafting refined white wines. Riesling is renowned for its crisp acidity, aromatic bouquet, and complex flavors ranging from juicy fruits to floral and mineral notes. Wines made from Riesling can be bone-dry with exquisite, graceful acidity or lusciously sweet, with a whole spectrum in between. The grapes we use for our Riesling come from Johannis Bangerth in the German wine region of Pfalz. He cultivates over 20 different grape varieties.
