How it was made
Good fruit, late-ish harvest. Hand-picked. This chardonnay from Germany's Pfalz region is crafted with precision and care. The wine undergoes both fermentation and aging in (second year use) 500L French oak wooden barrels, with temperature carefully controlled throughout the fermentation process. Twelve months of barrel aging results in a beautifully rounded wine, full of taste, with recognizable freshness, cream and toast flavor characteristic to the variety chardonnay.
