How it was made

Our Garnacha dessert wine shines ruby red in the glass. It shows sweet red fruits and vanilla on the nose. The taste is rich and sweet, with enough acidity to keep it fresh.

The wine represents the press fraction of our Garnacha (Mayor's Choice) wine. After fermentation in stainless steel tanks, we separated the free-run fraction. The remaining contents, including grape skins, were then moved to the press. Following pressing, this fraction was transferred to a stainless steel tank for aging and completion of fermentation. Due to the high initial sugar content, the resulting wine developed a higher alcohol content while retaining a small amount of residual sugar. We then added concentrated grape sugar to achieve the desired sweetness profile for our dessert wine.
