Sauvignon Blanc (FR) x Chenin Blanc (FR)

This cuvée blends sauvignon blanc and chenin blanc from various regions of France with a touch of garganega, grown partly organically and partly conventionally, then fermented in stainless steel to keep the fruit fresh and vivid. The result is a ripe, dry white at 11.5 percent alcohol, built for easy drinking rather than deep contemplation. It pours straw yellow with golden hues and opens with green apple, citrus, gooseberry and peach, a touch of green bell pepper keeping it herbaceous, all wrapped in a crisp, refreshing acidity that finishes vibrant with citrus and grapefruit.

Its bright acidity and herbaceous edge make it a natural with the sea: think grilled shrimp, oysters on the half shell, or a bright ceviche. It also holds its own against sharper company like a goat cheese salad, a Thai green curry, or a spread of sushi and sashimi.
