Piquette d'Amsterdam '22

Piquette literally finishes what we started. This piquette (which is completely different from our others) is fresh with its aromas of violet, jasmine and wild red berries. The sophisticated bubbles provide a nice balance. In 2022, we have used more left overs from white grapes and so the finish is a lot longer than last year's. At our local partner, the soft drink factory in Amsterdam, we added the bubbles and bottled it together.

How it's made  

This Piquette is made differently from our modern Piquette d'Amsterdam '21. On a new location with all the techniques we could wish for. In proportion many more white grapeskins including our beloved viognier. Furthermore, we used only water (and of course a lot of love and attention) to extract flavour, alcohol and colour from the remaining grape skins.

Pairs well with 

The fresh sparkle to serve as an aperitif before a lovely dinner or garden party with lots of wine up ahead, or to share with friends as a celebration for special moments. A glass of sparkling wine-that's-not-wine that tastes particularly elegant. You won't get really drunk even if you drink a whole bottle and so perfect for the BOB, reception or just soaking up the sun.
