Tasting Notes

This orange wine has a vibrant golden colour with aromas of orange peel, honey, and apricot on the nose. It is complex with flavours of dried fruit, spices, and a slight nuttiness from the skin contact of the pinot grigio grapes. The moscatel adds a touch of floral sweetness and enhances the aromatic profile of the wine. The tannins are present but not overpowering, giving the wine structure and a pleasant mouthfeel.

Veneto, Italy
The Veneto wine region is known for a formidable portfolio of red wines such as fruity red Valpolicella, intense Amarone, and sweet Recioto, as well as refreshing whites such as Soave and sparkling Prosecco.

Produced by fermenting white grapes in stainless steel tanks for 4 weeks, along with their skins and seeds. A process similar to that of making red wines. This method involves not only pressing the fruit and fermenting the juice, but also adding the skins and seeds to the mix, allowing for a unique color, flavor, and texture. To prevent the growth of unwanted microorganisms, a small amount of sulfites is added, while organic wine yeast is the only other additive used. There are no other substances present in this wine, as it is made solely from pure grape juice. Finally, a cellulose filter is used to clarify the wine.

This wine pairs well with a variety of dishes. It could be enjoyed with a charcuterie board with cured meats, aged cheeses, and dried fruits. The wine's acidity would cut through the richness of the cheeses and meats, while the fruitiness would complement the dried fruit. It would also pair well with spicy Asian cuisine or Moroccan tagine dishes, where the wine's complexity and spicy notes complement the bold flavours of the food.
