An organic orange wine blending German Riesling and Italian Garganega, given extended skin contact for a vibrant amber hue and real texture.
Riesling / Garganega
Wine Profile
Riesling and Garganega rarely share a bottle, one German, cool and aromatic, the other Italian, textured and structural, but here they are fermented together on their skins, organic and unhurried, until the wine takes on a deep, sunlit amber color. That extended skin contact is what gives this 2024 vintage its structure, a light grip of tannin threaded through fruit that stays remarkably fresh. On the nose it opens with dried apricot, orange peel and bergamot, wild herbs and a whisper of tea leaves, with the delicate floral lift that Riesling always brings. The palate is complex and lightly grippy, bright acidity balanced against gentle tannin, finishing long and savory. It is a wine that asks for a little patience and rewards it fully.

Pairing Suggestions
Try it with roast chicken and fresh herbs, or lean into its skin contact structure with Middle Eastern dishes like hummus, roasted aubergine and za'atar. It also holds its own next to pork belly, charcuterie or aged cheeses, and works beautifully with grilled vegetables or a pumpkin dish.
