This Amphora orange is a true juwel. Not a classical orange, but with a red-touch because of some blue grapes that are used as well. The nose is exquisit: lychee all over, and the juice has the fruity taste of a 'blood-orange'. Delightful.

How it was made
The wine is a blend of two muscat grape varieties. Muskateller and Blauer Muskateller, both come from the same producer and from the same German wine region; Baden-Württemberg. The wine is fully fermented under the grapes skins in the terracotta amphora. After that, it was left to macerate and mature in an amphora in contact with lees and grapes skins for the next 6 months. The conditions of micro-oxygenation provided by the amphora, as well as prolonged contact with the skin of the grape, gave our wine exceptional complexity, an attractive color and a wide range of tastes and aromas.
