Lucy’s Choice ’23 reflects our winemaker’s fresh approach to crafting an exceptional European blend.
Grenache (Garnacha) and Syrah
Wine Profile
Lucy's Choice '23 is what happens when two very different corners of the Mediterranean agree to tell the same story. The Grenache comes from Priorat, the rugged stretch of Catalonia where old vines grip slate and schist and concentrate everything they can into the fruit. The Syrah travels north from the sun warmed hills of the Languedoc in southern France, rounder and more generous. Twelve months in a mix of American and French oak barriques bring the two into balance, softening the fruit into something dark, velvety and lightly spiced, with a long, elegant finish that lingers rather than shouts. It is a wine built for patience, unhurried and completely sure of itself.

Pairing Suggestions
Its dark fruit and gentle spice want something with a bit of char: lamb chops or a slow cooked stew off the grill will do it justice, and a wedge of aged Manchego alongside closes the loop between its two homelands.
