Chardonnay (IT) x Macabeo (ES)

This cuvée blends chardonnay from Italy with macabeo from Spain and a touch of viognier, brought together across different vintages rather than a single harvest. Some of the fruit is grown organically, some conventionally, and the wine ferments and ages across both stainless steel and oak barrels, a mix that builds real depth and complexity. The result is a full bodied, generous white at 12.5 percent alcohol, layered with ripe peach, apricot and melon, a floral lift, and a whisper of vanilla from the oak, finishing long with a touch of mineral edge.
