GRAPES

70% chenin blanc & 30% garganega. Chenin blanc grapes from Chateau de la Variere in the French Loire, and garganega from Fasoli Gino in Veneto, Italy.

TASTING NOTES

This blend of chenin blanc and garganega has a bright yellow colour with golden reflections. On the nose, it offers aromas of ripe white peach, pear, honey, and a touch of floral notes. On the palate, it is dry with medium-high acidity, a medium body, and flavors of yellow apple, citrus, and a hint of almond.

Loire, France
In the middle of France you will find the Loire wine region. Named after and known for France's longest river and consisting of four different regions. This French region is renowned for its sweet (chenin blanc) wines, which remain undervalued for their quality.

Veneto, Italy
The Veneto wine region is known for a formidable portfolio of red wines such as fruity red Valpolicella, intense Amarone, and sweet Recioto, as well as refreshing whites such as Soave and sparkling Prosecco.

Fermented and aged in stainless steel tanks, this wine is made from the garganega grape, which we received in our winery on September 30th, while the chenin blanc had a normal entry on September 15th. The wine was blended in April 2023 and underwent minimal intervention during the process. Except for a low level of added sulfites (which we use to prevent the growth of unwanted microorganisms), our organic wine yeast, and an organic component to prevent bacteria on the muscatel, this wine doesn’t contain any other additives – just grape juice. We used a cellulose filter to clear the wine.
