ABOUT THIS WINE

Description

TASTING NOTES
This syrah boasts a typical purple color. It's a fantastic glass of wine with notes of black pepper, plums, sweet spices, cocoa, red fruit, jam, and nutmeg in its ripe aroma. The fruity, yet robust flavor bursts with red fruit, spices, mocha, chocolate, and silky tannins.

ABOUT THE GRAPE
Is it Syrah or Shiraz? Both terms can be used. Typically, Syrah is favored in European wine regions, while Shiraz is preferred in overseas wine regions. The grape has certainly gained prominence in the Northern Rhône Valley, where various famous wineries craft exceptional wines, as seen in the wine regions of Côte-Rôtie, Hermitage, and Cornas. Australia is also renowned for its Shiraz, particularly in the Barossa Valley, where exceptional wines grace the glass. This remarkable grape was a natural addition to our collection, so we embarked on a quest. In the French Corbières, we came across Mathilde Broto, who supplied us with perfectly ripe Syrah for this wine. She also cultivates Pinot Noir for our 'The Fantastic Mr. Fox!'
